The blizzard of March 6-10, 2008 unleashed its heaviest snow in a narrow
swath from the central Ohio Valley to the St. Lawrence River. Columbus,
Ohio, was within this corridor and set a record for the most snow in a
24-hour period when 15.5 inches fell.
