Rain to dampen Easter Sunday across France

A mild start to the holiday weekend will be quickly replaced by cooler and wet weather for Easter Sunday.
Ahead of an approaching cold front, temperatures will soar several degrees above normal across France on Saturday.

Temperatures from Nantes to Paris will climb to around 14-16 C (57-60 F).
A few showers will occur from Nantes to Cherbourg-Octeville and Brest throughout the day with the most widespread showers happening in the afternoon.
Largely dry weather is expected across central and southern France with partly to mostly sunny skies.

High temperatures will reach 16 C (61 F) in Lyon, 20 C (68 F) in Toulouse and 18 C (64 F) in Montpellier.
Saturday's warmth will be erased by a cold front that brings rain across France from Saturday night into Sunday.

The heaviest rainfall is expected to move through Paris Saturday night with showers lingering throughout Easter Sunday.
Temperatures from Nantes to Paris on Sunday will climb to 11-12 C (52-54 F); however, it will feel cooler with mostly cloudy skies and frequent showers throughout the day.
Rain and occasional downpours will fall throughout the day on Sunday in southern France, impacting Easter plans in Lyon, Montpellier and Marseille.
Sunday's high temperatures will be 12 C (54 F) in Lyon, 14 C (57 F) in Toulouse and 16 C (61 F) in Montpellier.
