A mild start to the holiday weekend will be quickly replaced by cooler, wet weather for Easter Sunday.
Ahead of an approaching cold front, temperatures will soar several degrees above normal across France on Saturday.

Temperatures from Nantes to Paris will climb to around 14-16 C (57-60 F).
Rain will increase throughout the day from Cherbourg-Octeville to Brest with spotty showers dampening Dieppe, Nantes and Bordeaux.
Largely dry weather is expected across central and southern France with partly to mostly sunny skies.

High temperatures will reach 16 C (62 F) in Lyon, 20 C (68 F) in Toulouse and 18 C (65 F) in Montpellier.
Saturday's warmth will be trimmed by a cold front that will spread rain across France from Saturday night into Sunday.
The heaviest rainfall is expected to move through Paris Saturday night with thundery showers lingering throughout Easter Sunday.

Temperatures from Nantes to Paris on Sunday will climb to 11-13 C (52-56 F); however, it will feel cooler with limited sunshine, a gusty breeze and frequent thundershowers throughout the day.
While the rainfall on Sunday will tend to be light in northern France, the gusty winds will make holding onto umbrellas difficult. Residents should seek shelter as soon as thunder is heard to avoid being struck by lightning.
Rain and occasional downpours will target southeastern France on Sunday, impacting Easter plans in Lyon and Marseille.
"There can be locally over 50 mm (2 inches) of rain and flash flooding in southeastern France," AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys said. The heaviest rain in Lyon and Marseille on Sunday will be during the morning.
The ski resorts in the highest elevations of the French Alps will welcome fresh snow.
Sunday's high temperatures will be 11 C (51 F) in Lyon, 15 C (59 F) in Toulouse and 16 C (61 F) in Montpellier.
