Despite a damp start to the new year, the weekend will bring a break from the rain for Seattle.
Temperatures will remain consistently in the mid- to upper 40s during the day and in the 30s overnight through the remainder of this week and into next.
Thursday and Friday morning will bring more showers to the city but the clouds will break and the rain will cease sometime Friday morning.
The rest of the day on Friday will feature some sunshine and high temperatures in the upper 40s.
Cloudy skies will be prominent for both Saturday and Sunday, as temperatures hover around 45 degrees both days.
