Very Poor Rain Chances Continue for Southern California

A bit of relief is possible from the California drought late this week in the San Francisco area.
A chance of showers is expected Thursday, but those showers aren't expected to make it into Southern California.
Some showers occurred Sunday in Los Angeles, where no precipitation had fallen since Dec. 19, when 0.04 inches of rain fell.

It will otherwise stay sunny and warm with highs in the low to upper 70s through Wednesday.
It will turn cooler Friday and Saturday with daytime highs falling back into the upper 60s.
