A snowy pattern will set up across the Upper Midwest this week and bring occasional snow to Minneapolis.
One to 3 inches of snow are possible late Monday through Tuesday night, with a potential for heavy snow accumulation north of Minneapolis.

Temperatures will rise into the high 30s on Monday and Tuesday, accompanied by mostly cloudy skies.
After the midweek system exits the area, frigid air will pour into the area.
Highs on Thursday will be in the teens, followed by highs on Friday and Saturday in the single digits. Low temperatures late week are expected to be below zero.
The last time temperatures in Minneapolis fell to below zero in December was in 2010.
