A mild weekend is in store for Pittsburgh, but much colder air will arrive for the last couple of days of 2013.
Temperatures will peak in the 40s both days of the weekend.
Saturday is forecast to be the better of the two days for travel and outdoor activities. A storm will graze the area Sunday with rain.
NFL fans heading to Heinz Field Sunday should be prepared for rainy conditions. Some snow will be mixed in over the Laurel Highlands.

As colder air begins to move in Sunday night, a bit of snow can also fall around Pittsburgh. As a result, there could be icy spots developing.
A surge of Arctic air will be accompanied by flurries and locally heavy snow showers Monday through Tuesday.
RealFeel® temperatures will be in the single digits at times for outdoor New Year's Eve activities.
