A mix of clouds and sun will close out the remaining days of 2013 in the Atlanta area.
Temperatures will rise into the mid-50s by the weekend before turning lower for Monday and Tuesday.
New Year's Eve will be chilly for events such as the Peach Drop 2014 with the 800-pound peach making its descent into the new year and the Chick-fil-A Bowl at the Georgia Dome.
