Lower humidity and slightly below normal temperatures will be on tap for Atlanta through Tuesday.
High pressure will continue to promote less humid and dry conditions through the start of the workweek. The high temperature Monday will be similar to Sunday, rising to around 83. Tuesday's high will climb to 87, just below the normal high of 88.

It has been a wet summer for Atlanta. The city has received 5.24 inches of rain already in August, surpassing the monthly average of 3.90 inches.
Additionally, more rain has fallen already from January through Aug. 24 than the city typically receives in an entire calendar year.
The humidity is expected back later in the week with a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday.
