After accumulating snowfall and frigid temperatures this week, the weekend will bring a period of short relief to Cleveland.
A snowstorm Wednesday through Thursday will bring between 3-6 inches of snow to the city.
Thursday will also be a bit breezy, allowing for the snow to blow around during the day. Wind gusts up to 36 mph are possible through the evening hours.

Drivers should use extra caution and give themselves ample time to get to their destinations, as roads will likely be snow-covered, slippery and perhaps even icy.
Despite partly sunny skies Friday, temperatures will drop into the teens as a few more snowflakes fall over the area. Overnight temperatures will drop into the single digits.
The weekend, however, will bring some relief from the cold and snow beginning Saturday.
Temperatures will rise into the mid-30s Saturday and Sunday, but Saturday will feature some sunshine and clouds.
Saturday will be the only break from the snow though, as the city will accumulate another three to six inches Saturday night into Sunday.
Looking into next week, another blast of cold air will return to Cleveland, as temperatures will begin to decline on Monday, reaching the teens.
Tuesday will be the coldest day the city has had in a while, nearing zero degrees.
