Sunny and dry weather is expected to return on Sunday, as an area of high pressure that will build into the region keeps the best chance for rain across Vancouver Island and into British Columbia.
Looking ahead to early next week, the area of high pressure will continue to strengthen, leading to dry conditions on Monday and Tuesday. Highs will remain in the mid-50s.
