Minneapolis: Periods of light snow expected late this week

After significant snowfall early in the week, periods of non-accumulating flurries are expected through the weekend.
By Wednesday, temperatures will fall to the low 20s F, but snow will move out of the region. Sunshine will make a brief return.

Highs are expected to climb into the 30s, above normal for this time of year. Average highs for the first week of February are closer to the 25-degree mark.
Skies will feature a mix of clouds and sun at times for the second half of the week.
"Snow is possible at times, though no major accumulation is expected," AccuWeather Meteorologist Steve Travis said.
