A major storm system will lift into the region by the middle of the week, spreading a steady rain over the Cleveland area.
Dry weather can be expected on Monday and Tuesday ahead of the storm with partial sunshine and highs within a few degrees of 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wednesday will bring much different weather than the start of the week as a large storm system moves over the region, delivering a soaking rain that will persist through Wednesday and into Wednesday night.
Some spots may receive over an inch of rain from Tuesday night through Wednesday night which can lead to localized flooding issues.

As the center of the aforementioned storm system shifts to the northeast, colder air will begin to blow across the Cleveland area.
Temperatures are not expected to drop off significantly, but temperatures will drop low enough to cause the rain to switch over to snow for Thursday with some snow showers lingering into Friday.
This is not expected to evolve into a major snowstorm, but the city may still pick up a few inches of snow before ending on Friday.
Dry weather is forecast to return for the start of the upcoming weekend with temperatures in the 30s F.
