Harrisburg to Turn Drier Sunday Before a Spring Tease

Following a wet Saturday, a drier end to the weekend is shaping up for Harrisburg before a tease of spring warmth kicks off the new week.
Saturday's rain will be replaced with a passing shower or two and gusty winds on Sunday. Residents will occasionally get a glimpse of sunshine.
Any shower will pale in comparison to Saturday's soaking, lasting only for a brief time and entirely missing some communities. The showers will diminish by the afternoon.
While actual temperatures will be near the normal high of 50 F, the winds will hold AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures to the 30s.

Monday is shaping up to be the nicest day of the new week as the winds calm and some more sunshine returns. Temperatures will rise into the lower 60s, making the day feel more like April.
Monday's warmth, however, will only be a tease for residents wishing to put a nail in the coffin on winter.

The passage of a cold front will cause the air to turn progressively cooler Tuesday through Wednesday. The middle of the new week will feel more like a typical February day with temperatures rising only into the lower 40s and much lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.
The new week is likely to be a preview of what is to come during the next several weeks.

"While there could be a day or two of warmth ahead of any cold front, the weather pattern is not favoring any sustained warmth across the East into April," stated AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Mark Paquette. "There can even be some really chilly shots as well."
