While snow will be gone from the Boston area by Sunday, the chill will hang tough to end the weekend.
The record-breaking snowy winter does not want to release its grip on the Boston area.
Snow returned to New England on Saturday and will accumulate 1 to 2 inches before winding down overnight.
Motorists should be alert for slick spots, especially after dark. Snow will have an easier time accumulating at night with the loss of the stronger late March sun and as temperatures fall.
The snow and brisk winds will be replaced by less wind and some more sunshine on Sunday.
AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures will be 15 to 20 degrees higher Sunday afternoon than what was registered on Saturday.

Regardless, RealFeel® and actual temperatures will remain below normal. Average temperatures range from a low in the middle 30s to a high near 50 F.
Temperatures will rebound further on Monday as storm system sweeps through the Northeast and struggles to produce a rain shower around Boston.
On the heels of this system will be another set to spread a narrow and quick-hitting band of snow from the Upper Midwest to the Northeast on Tuesday.
Latest indications point toward this system passing by to the south of Boston and only grazing the city.
The cooler air following Tuesday's system at midweek will pale in comparison to this weekend's chill. A surge of warmth will then follow for Thursday.
