Dangerous cold and snow will be the theme in Detroit this week.
Wednesday and Thursday will be the most frigid two days, as temperatures hover around 13 F during the daytime hours.
Overnight temperatures will dip close to 0 F in the city, with Thursday night being the coldest, reaching below zero F.

For those headed outdoors, be sure to be adequately prepared as the dangerously cold air could cause cold-related illnesses, such as hypothermia and frostbite.
A windy and snowy day is in store for the city Friday, as snow showers will pop up in the afternoon hours accompanied by gusty winds. Winds may gust to near 30 F during the day, which will blow the fresh snow around in the air.
Come Friday night, a storm will bring anywhere from two to four inches of fluffy snow to the region.

The snow will stop sometimes Saturday afternoon, as temperatures warm to nearly 30 degrees but the warmer air won't last for long.
Overnight Saturday temperatures will near 0 F, as Sunday's high temperatures return to the teens.
Another snow shower is in the forecast for Sunday, but heading into next week the city won't have another chance of flurries until Thursday.
