Cold, storm-free weather will stick around Pittsburgh into the weekend, following the atmospheric dramatics from Tuesday and Wednesday.
While early Black Friday shoppers venturing out will have to face the cold weather and flurries, winds should be light Friday through the weekend.
For folks traveling well north of the city and over the Laurel Highlands, additional lake effect can bring a fresh coating to an inch or two to a few communities.
Temperatures on Friday will start the day in the frigid teens and will only crawl into the 20s in the afternoon with the aid of some sunshine.
Temperatures are forecast to trend upward Saturday and Sunday but will still average well below normal for the end of November and early December.
