UK: Cool, Damp Tuesday Yields to Warmer, Drier Late Week

September 21,2015; 9:40PM,EDT

Rain will continue to dampen the south and east of England on Tuesday following a wet start to the week in the United Kingdom.
For the last day of Fashion Week shows and presentations, Greater London will have further showery outbreaks, although these may thin out after the morning as east-bound rainy low pressure aims for the continent. Topping out near 15 C, daytime temperatures will wind up about 2 C below normal for the date in and about the city.

Elsewhere in the United Kingdom, most of Scotland through Wales and the west of England, Tuesday will bring little more than isolated showers along side the cool breeze.
Wednesday, most of the United Kingdom will get a break from rainy weather. However, it will be short-lived, as the next area of low pressure will return rain to the west of Scotland by late afternoon.

After another day of showery outbreaks on Thursday, building high pressure will bring a drying trend to most of the United Kingdom beginning Friday. Temperatures will rebound somewhat to near or even above normal at the weekend.
