After a seasonable Monday, frigid air will once again grip the Harrisburg area.
The parade of Alberta Clippers streaming from western Canada to the East Coast will continue through the week.
Each clipper will be monitored for possible strengthening and the development of steadier snow along the East Coast, which will occur on Tuesday.
The steadiest snow from the clipper will develop south and east of Harrisburg on Tuesday, but a heavier snow squall accompanying the preceding arctic front could quickly coat roads and reduce visibility Monday evening.
Motorists should prepare for adverse travel conditions to rapidly unfold.
Before the snow squall threat, temperatures will rise to a seasonable high of near 40 F as a breeze blows. A rain or snow shower will reach the area in the afternoon.

About 20 degrees will separate Monday's high from Tuesday's as the frigid air gets ushered in. In fact, Tuesday's high will likely be recorded in the predawn hours than the afternoon.
Temperatures will then plummet into the single digits Tuesday night and then only recover to the teens on Wednesday.
Yet another Alberta Clipper will return the chance for a bit of snow on Thursday before fresh frigid air arrives later in the week.
