No 'Snow Bowls' for Sunday's NFL Championship Games

As a large and persistent dome of high pressure expands across the West this weekend, a dry and tranquil day will greet both fans and players attending Sunday's games.
Temperatures in Seattle will top off around 50 degrees at the 6:30 p.m. kickoff, while Denver will reach nearly 60 degrees for the 3:00 p.m. start. Winds will also be very light, with speeds no greater than 15 mph at either location.

Of course, this is in stark contrast to last weekend's games, when bouts of heavy rain and strong, gusty winds blasted Seattle and Foxborough.

Despite the nice weather at the start of the games, temperatures will still drop into the 30s and 40s toward the end of the games.

The winning teams of Sunday's championship games will head off to MetLife Stadium on Feb. 2 for the Super Bowl. Be sure to check AccuWeather's WillItSnow.com for the latest thoughts on possible flakes for the day.

You can legally smoke weed in Denver and Seattle. Both cities are hosting NFL Conference Championship games. Just saying... Go Cowboys... :(

Instead of the pro bowl, I think we should round up the 32 worst NFL players and make them compete in the Hunger Games for our amusement

Sure, the Pats haven't won a Super Bowl since SpyGate, but they neither have 23 other NFL teams. But 5 AFC Championship Games & 2 SB trips.

It’s much harder to win a Super Bowl than an NBA championship. There’s more parody in the NFL and you can’t take any games off. One shot.
