Cleveland: Weekend Warmup to Replace Bitter Cold

After several days of frigid weather in Cleveland, a weekend warmup will bring some reprieve to the city.
Temperatures could touch 50 degrees in some locations this weekend.

The warming trend will not be without precipitation, however. The January thaw will be accompanied by drenching rain Friday night into Saturday.
In the wake of the storm, it will turn cooler, but not colder immediately. This is because the source of the air moving in Sunday will be from the Pacific Ocean.
Another dose of warm air is likely to swing through during the middle of next week.
