1 Dead, 2 Injured in Aspen, Colorado Plane Crash

A plane crashed early Sunday afternoon at the airport in Aspen, Colo., killing a Mexican man and injuring two others, The Associated Press said.
The injured were taken to Aspen Valley Hospital, a spokeswoman told The AP.
The Pitkin County, Colo., Sheriff's Office said it responded to the scene with other emergency crews. The plane, a Canadair CL-600, was landing at Aspen after its departure from Tucson, Ariz., an FAA spokesman told The AP.
The National Transportation Safety Board said it was investigating the cause of the crash.
It snowed overnight Sunday in Aspen, said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards. It was 7 degrees and not snowing at 12:30 p.m. MST, the time when tweets from Aspen starting coming out about the crash.
Actor Kevin Nealon and country/western singer LeAnn Rimes were at the airport at the time of the incident.
