Stormy Weather to Disrupt Halloween Festivities in Chicago

Stormy weather will interrupt trick-or-treating plans for much of the Midwest and Northeast, and Chicago will not be the exception.
Despite a rise in temperatures on Wednesday, rain will plague the city beginning in the afternoon hours.
Winds from the south to southwest will pick up on Wednesday evening and remain through Halloween night.
On Halloween, a thunderstorm along with periods of rain will haunt the city throughout the day.

Making for an extra eery Halloween evening, light rain showers will continue into the night but skies will be mostly cloudy.
Rain will die down for the first day of November but clouds will remain and winds will pick up.

On Friday and Saturday, winds from the northwest will blow through the city. Some gusts between 20 to 25 degrees are possible.
Along with the gusty winds, temperatures will drop back into the 50s making the air feel even cooler.
Typical temperatures for this time of year are in the 50s, so this November will start out with normal temperatures.
For those looking to head outdoors this weekend, sunshine will return to the Windy City on Sunday.
