A Windy, Warm Halloween Night Forecast in Philly

A potent storm affecting the middle of the nation at midweek will bring gusty wind, warmth and some rain to Philadelphia Thursday into Friday.
Temperatures will be in the upper 60s for the Halloween evening masquerade and rain should be scarce.
However, winds will increase Thursday and Thursday night.
Travel during rush hour Friday morning could be rough with gusts between 40 and 50 mph and a period of rain.

The winds could cause cause flight delays and, when combined with rounds of rain, can pose a challenge for commuters.
Fallen leaves will be scattered, trash cans could go flying and a few tree limbs may come down.
The storm and its south to southwesterly winds will bring in warmer air into the end of the week, before cooling winds from the west kick in following the storm over the weekend.
