Following the powerful storm system that blasted parts of the United Kingdom and northern Europe with damaging winds early this week, the weather pattern will remain unsettled with bouts of rain and gusty winds through Sunday.
A frontal boundary passing through the United Kingdom Wednesday night will bring generally light rainfall and some gusty winds.
Thursday will be a showery day from Wales and northern England into Scotland as the frontal boundary pushes off to the east. Southeast England could get a morning shower from the frontal boundary before it pushes to the east.

A fast-moving low pressure system will then target Wales and much of England with spells of rain on Friday. This storm system will also bring strong winds and rainfall to northern France, an area hit hard by the storm early this week.

Yet another storm system will then bring a chilly rain to Scotland and northern England on Saturday. Strong winds and showers are expected across Wales and England, as well as Northern Ireland and Ireland.
Sunday will be a drier day overall across the United Kingdom, although gusty winds and isolated showers will continue.
The storm systems that will impact the United Kingdom and northern France through Sunday will not compare to the one that caused widespread damaging winds and killed multiple people early this week.
