Tranquil and warm weather will be the rule in Dallas early this week prior to the arrival of a complex storm system.
Daytime highs will be in the low 80s through Tuesday, but conditions are expected to change Wednesday.
A storm system is moving eastward across the Intermountain West, delivering a blizzard to the northern Rockies. As the system moves eastward, a severe weather threat will arrive in Dallas on Wednesday.

Any thunderstorms could bring torrential flooding downpours and damaging wind gusts, and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out on Wednesday.
