Very nice weather expected Sunday for the Great Lakes region and temperatures will continue to be below normal for early August.
Normal temperatures for the beginning of August from Minneapolis to Chicago and Detroit are in the lower 80s.
Temperatures Sunday will not be the coolest temperatures so far this summer, but highs will be in the middle to upper 70s
The Minneapolis area will be in the upper 70s over the next couple of days, while Chicago will dip down into the mid 70s through Monday.
Temperatures will briefly surge back to the more-average 80s next week, but in the longer range, the upper-level patter will likely bring things back to a cooler than normal state.
