The warmest air so far this year will surge into Germany, making Sunday feel more like late spring than early April.
Temperatures will continue to trend upward on Sunday. Clouds will be slightly more widespread across western areas compared to the east, but most will see a fair sky with a mixture of clouds and sunshine.
Overall, afternoon highs will range from 18-22 C (65-72 F) from Munich to Berlin and Hamburg on Sunday. This will make it feel more like late May than early April.
The warmest air across the country will be found across the south, from Stuttgart to Munch. In addition to the warm temperatures and periods of sunshine, a little wind will aid in making Sunday a pleasant day.
Sunday should rival or top the previous warmest day this year in many communities.
Frankfurt has reached only 15 C (59 F) so far this year, with temperatures forecast near 20 C (68 F) on Sunday. Berlin will have a similar high on Sunday, which will be the warmest day yet this year.

For parts of western Germany, isolated showers may put a damper on the warmth.
Residents in western Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Pfalz will experience spotty rain showers for Sunday, keeping an umbrella handy might be a good idea for those out and about throughout the day.
However, these showers should be light in nature and will only bring minor inconveniences to those with outdoor plans.
Other than these light and isolated showers across far western areas, the rest of the country will be dry.
Following unseasonable highs again on Monday, the warmth will be trimmed from west to east across Germany. A cold front, accompanied by showers, will move through from Tuesday into Wednesday.
