Spectators set to attend the three-day Grand National Festival taking place at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England, will have to contend with frequent showers and occasional gusty winds.
The event is expected to attract more than 150,000 people from Thursday through Saturday with an estimated 600 million people watching the 169th Grand National on Saturday.
Grand Opening Day on Thursday will feature multiple races and a variety of music and entertainment.
Event goers will want to be prepared for strong winds and frequent showers throughout the day.
Wind gusts of 30-40 mph (50-65 km/h) will make it feel chilly with AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures ranging from 2-5 C (35-41 F) despite a high temperature of 10 C (50 F).
While it will not rain constantly, frequent showers are possible during the morning and afternoon with limited sunshine and thick clouds.

The weather will improve on Friday for Ladies Day, with periods of sunshine and less wind.
While there can be a shower or two during the day, much of the day will be dry. The high temperature will again rise to only 10 C (50 F) during the afternoon, but less wind will make it feel a bit milder.
The threat of rain will increase again from Friday night into Saturday. Rain will become showery during the afternoon.
Plenty of cloud throughout the day with occasional gusty winds will make it feel chilly leading up to the Grand National which will begin at 17:15 BST.
Rainfall this week is expected to total 12-25 mm (0.50-1.00 inch), which could impact the racing surface, increasing the difficulty of the race and giving an advantage to some horses.
The temperature at the start of the race is expected to be near 9 C (48 F) with a breeze from the southwest.
