A pair of storms will continue the recent unsettled weather across Germany on Thursday and Friday.
The air will be mild enough to prevent any widespread accumulating snowfall; however, some of the highest terrain of western and southern Germany could get snow showers with minor accumulations.
Areas from Cologne and Dusseldorf to Frankfurt and Stuttgart can expect several showers on Thursday with a steady rain falling for much of the day Friday. Accompanying the showers will be occasional gusty winds both days.
High temperatures will range from 5-7 C (41-44 F); however, low temperatures will fall to near 0 C (32 F) at night. This will allow some wet snow to mix with the rain. The greatest threat of snow will be across Baden-Wurttemberg.
Flooding is not expected to be a concern; however, travel may be slower at times on Friday during the heaviest rainfall.
