High pressure will bring cool, dry conditions to the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore areas to begin the week, but rain will arrive by midweek.
High temperatures early this week will be held a few degrees below normal. It may feel cool for many after high temperatures were in the 70s F for a few days this past week.
Normal temperatures for this time of year are in the low to mid-60s.

Anyone going to get a last look of the fall foliage, go apple picking or collect pumpkins for Halloween will need to bring along sunglasses as the sun will mix with clouds.
By midweek, a storm system will move across the Northeast and bring a soaking rainfall.
Any rain will be beneficial as the region has only received around 0.50 of an inch of rain since Oct. 4.
Rainfall totals could range between 0.50 of an inch to 2 inches.
Rain will depart toward the end of the week.
