An area
of low pressure will continue to affect the Southwest on Sunday, while
an active weather pattern will shift across the eastern third of the
country.
A low pressure system will shift southward over the southwestern corner of the country. This system will usher light to moderate rain over southern California, the southern tip of Nevada and southern Arizona. Moderate to heavy snow showers will impact the higher elevations of southern California, the Great Basin, the Wasatch and the southern Rockies. Winter storm warnings are in place across the central and southern Rockies, as well parts of southern California. Flood watches are also in place for central Arizona. Additionally, an onshore flow from the Pacific will bring chances of afternoon and evening showers to the Pacific Northwest.

Just to the east, return flow from the Atlantic will bring chances of thunderstorms to Florida.
