Spring warmth will remain on hold around Pittsburgh through Monday before milder air surges in, but only for a short time.
Chilly air will continue to have residents shivering through Monday, despite sunshine mixing with clouds.
Temperatures on Monday will be held about 10 degrees below normal. Highs in the lower 50s and lows in the lower 30s are more common this time of year.
Tuesday through Wednesday is when Pittsburgh will escape the chill. Temperatures will rebound back to more seasonable levels on Tuesday before soaring well into the 60s on Wednesday.

Dry weather and some sunshine will compliment the milder air on Tuesday, but umbrellas will be needed on Wednesday as a couple of showers return.

Additional showers will follow for Thursday as a cold front approaches. The passage of that front later Thursday will open the door for fresh chilly air to sweep back in for Friday and next weekend.
