After snow spread across Minneapolis through the second half of the weekend, milder air will help the snow melt quickly on Monday.
As temperatures drop below freezing Monday night, any wet, untreated walkways or roads could freeze.
The area may see episodes of rain showers in the early and middle parts of the new week as temperatures rise.

Dry weather will make a brief return to the city on Monday, but rain will move back into the area on Tuesday.
Temperatures during the first half of the week will be in the mid-40s, which is slightly above the average for this time of year.

The second half of the weekend will feature a mix of rain and snow with little to no snow accumulation expected.
With the abundance of clouds, nighttime temperatures should stay fairly close to average and feel generally mild into midweek, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Maggie Samuhel said.
