After an extended bout with frigid, arctic air gripping much of the eastern United States, the Cleveland area will see a change as milder weather sets in for the new week.
Temperatures will climb to the 40s through the week while overnight lows will hover in the middle to high 20s.
"Temperatures will warm up to seasonal levels," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Bob Smerbeck said.
As the week moves forward, dry and seasonably mild weather can be expected through midweek with highs in the upper 40s.

"There is very little chance of rain, but there will be patchy low clouds that mix with sun," Smerbeck said.
While temperatures will reach near 50 F Wednesday, colder air will push temperatures down slightly later in the week.
Later in the week, rain will put a damper on the mild weather into the weekend as a storm grazes the city on Friday.
