Pittsburgh: Warmth to be Swept Away by Midweek

Mild weather will be featured across the region early into the middle of the week but it will not stick around for too long.
"Cloudy skies are expected Tuesday with high temperatures around the 50 degree mark," said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards.
Although the mild air may sound like a nice day to some, it will be accompanied by showers. Folks may need to keep the umbrella close as they head outside.

"A cold front will pass through the region into Wednesday, bringing colder air for the rest of the week," said Edwards. "A gusty breeze will actually make it feel much colder," added Edwards.
High temperatures will drop back down into the 30s through at least Friday, remaining below the average of 40 degrees.

The cold air may set off some lake-effect snow showers for areas north of I-80. Pittsburgh will likely remain dry through the end of the week.
Thursday and Friday will likely feature the most sunshine this week but that will not help out in the temperature department.
