A recent stretch of warm weather around the Detroit area will be in the history books by the middle of the week as temperature drop back down to normal levels.
The beginning of the week will feature high temperatures in the low 50s but by Wednesday those temperatures will be back down in the middle 30s.
"A storm system tracking through the region will bring an end to a mild and cloudy stretch of weather," said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards.

A northwest flow behind a weather system that will cut across the Great Lakes during the middle of the week will be responsible for the cooler air. The precipitation associated with the storm will occur Tuesday but will be out of the area by Wednesday.
"By Wednesday, high temperatures will struggle to reach the middle 30s under mostly cloudy skies. A gusty west wind will make it feel like it's in the 20s most of the day," said Edwards.
A few lake-effect snow showers will stream in across western Michigan during the middle of the week but are not expected to make it into Detroit.
