Despite sunny skies to start the week, clouds and rain showers will dampen Minneapolis through late week.
With temperatures slightly below seasonal normals and a breezy wind in the area, Wednesday will feel cooler as rain plagues the area during the afternoon and evening hours. On Wednesday evening, a thunderstorm will move through the city bringing more rain to the area.
Rain and thunderstorms will continue in Minneapolis throughout the day on Thursday before clouds break overnight.

While thunderstorms will exit the area by Friday, some spotty rain showers will dampen the area through Friday morning. However, Friday night should remain rain-free for those headed to the first game of the three-game series at Target Field as the Minnesota Twins take on the Detroit Tigers.
As temperatures drop into the 30s overnight Friday, baseball fans should plan to bring a jacket to the game.

Partly sunny skies will be present on Saturday for fans, but rain and clouds will roll back into the city for Sunday's game. Rain delays are possible as showers are expected through the evening hours.
Overnight Sunday, temperatures will again drop down into the 30s, and rain may even change to snow during the evening hours.
Heading into next week, temperatures at the beginning of the week will start in the high 40s, but by late in the week, warmer weather will return.
