Thanks to a slow-moving storm system forming just east of the Rockies, Detroit looks to be in store for a week of wet weather.
Temperatures will remain below normal in Detroit throughout the day Monday, as highs will only reach the 50s. It will also be cloudy and cool with a little afternoon rain possible.
The temperature will increase into the 70s on Tuesday, but the wet and cloudy weather will remain. Tuesday will also see a chance for a thunderstorm.
Wednesday will remain in the 70s with mostly cloudy skies and more showers possible in the early evening.
Cloudy skies continue through the end of the week, with temperatures in the lows 60s and high 50s.
"I really think that at least a chance of showers lingers into at least Saturday," said Accuweather.com Meteorologist Richard Jaworski.
