Warmth will take hold of Minneapolis this week, providing residents and visitors with milder weather for the beginning of April.
At midweek, temperatures spiked to more seasonable levels accompanied by some sun, making it a warm day for the Twins game against the Oakland Athletics.
While temperatures will drop back down into the 60s, spotty showers may force baseball fans to bring rain jackets and umbrellas to the game Thursday night, as the Twins and Athletics play each other again.

Clouds will hover over Minneapolis through Saturday, but rain showers both Friday and Saturday night may dampen the baseball games between the Twins and the Kansas City Royals.

Sunshine will return on Sunday, but temperatures will plummet back down into the 40s for the rest of the weekend.
The sun will stay around the city through next Tuesday, but cloudy skies will return for mid-April.

It's days like today where I really question why I root for things like cold, snow and ice.
