Two Rounds of Rain for Pittsburgh Through Thursday

A couple of rounds of rain will affect the Pittsburgh area before the end of the week.
First a front will swing in from the west on Wednesday with off and on rain and perhaps a rumble of thunder.
Next a weak storm moving northeastward along that front can bring another dose of rain Thursday into Thursday evening.

While there can be enough rain from either system to cause minor travel disruptions and typical flooding in poor drainage areas, not enough rain will fall to cause widespread flash and small stream flooding.
Rainfall in most cases from the two combined systems will be under a half of an inch.
