A slow-moving storm system will bring unsettled weather to much of the United Kingdom with widespread showers through midweek.
Many areas will feel more like early autumn than the middle of summer as the combination of cool air and gusty winds makes it feel quite cool at times on both Wednesday and Thursday.
"Peak wind gusts of 40 mph (65 km/h) are possible with the showers across Northern England, northern Wales and northern Ireland on Wednesday," AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys said.
"Widespread blustery showers are expected across Scotland," Roys said.
High temperatures will range from 15-18 C (59-65 F) throughout the northern half of the United Kingdom.
While much of the U.K. deals with showers, dry and milder weather is expected across Southern England on Wednesday. There will be some sunny spells throughout the region with a high temperature near 24 C (75 F) in Greater London.
