San Francisco: Wet Weather Returns to Last Into Weekend

November 18,2014; 8:26PM,EST

Changes are on the way for San Francisco and surrounding areas as a series of weak storms rolls in from the Pacific with showers.
While these storms will not bring tremendous rainfall, every little bit will help with the long-term drought in the region. Some rain will spill farther east, into the Sacramento Valley.
While highs will be mainly in the 60s during the rest of the week, temperatures will be in the 50s much of the time, while it is raining.

Occasional showers are expected to continue through Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning, before evolving into a steadier rain by early Thursday afternoon.
Although Friday will start dry, building clouds will lead to another round of showers by the afternoon.

Showers to start the day on Saturday may depart during the afternoon.
Sunday is likely to be the nicer of the two days this weekend with a return of sunshine.
