The arctic air mass is projected to retreat northeastward this weekend and will allow temperatures to climb into the 30s. While these temperatures will feel much warmer, they will still be around 5-8 degrees below what is normal for mid- to late November.
During the week of Thanksgiving, temperatures more typical for late November are in store with relatively weak, fast-moving storm systems forecast. The pattern should make for better travel conditions overall.
