Due to the core of the arctic air mass plunging across much of the United States, Atlanta will endure cooler conditions over the next several days.
Daytime highs will remain below normal heading into the weekend. After a brief plunge into the upper 30s on Tuesday, temperatures should hover 50 F for much of the week.
Evening temperatures will fall around the mid-30s into the weekend.

With no real precipitation expected, AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures should be only a few degrees the daytime highs.
Skies will be partly sunny with some intermittent clouds throughout the day. Night skies should also be free of precipitation but will be cloudier.

Those with any outdoor plans should dress appropriately for the chilly conditions.
Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures could rise back into the low 60s. Sunday could see showers and the chance of a thunderstorm.
