The only problem ahead is no rain to help with the extended drought in the region.
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, a third of California is in an exceptional drought, the highest level of drought calculated by the federal government.
It hasn't rained in Los Angeles so far in June, and the prospects of any precipitation are very dim for the first month of summer.
No rain is in the forecast for Los Angeles until the end of July.
