Another sunny week is ahead for the Los Angeles area, a region that remains under the grips of an extended drought.
There will be some low morning clouds early in the week that may delays flights at Los Angeles International Airport, but it will be sunny with highs in the low 80s through Friday.
Nighttime lows will stay in the mid-60s.

A third of California remains under exceptional drought conditions, according to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor.
In mid-June, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced it was raising its incentive for residential customers to replace their lawns with what they called "California Friendly plants and other water-wise landscaping."

Of the 600 million gallons of drinking water delivered daily in Los Angeles, about half is used for watering outdoors, the department said.
The incentive went from $2 a square foot of lawn to $3 a square foot.
No rain is expected across the region for at least the next 45 days, reaching into mid-August.
