The weather may kick around a few thunderstorms for fans trying to catch the United States versus Germany World Cup match, outdoors, on Thursday in the Midwest and East.
Millions of soccer fans will not let a weekday game stop them from watching the noon EDT, Thursday match at home, work or their neighborhood bar.
Thousands of fans will check out at least part of the match outdoors in cities across the nation during their breakfast, brunch or lunch break.

In general, a zone of showers and thunderstorms will affect the East Coast, portions of the Central states and the Northwest.
There will be a risk of showers and thunderstorms affecting outdoor venues in New York City, Philadelphia, Miami and Orlando. While these storms may only take up part of the daylight hours, there is a chance of a downpour with thunder and lightning while watching the game.
According to Northeast Weather Expert Dave Dombek, "The wettest part of the week around New York City looks to be Wednesday night to Thursday midday."
"The weather will be improving for viewing the game Thursday afternoon in Washington, D.C., and the rain could move out in time for the game in New York City."

However, Florida may not be as fortunate as thunderstorms in late June are practically a given.
"Storms are most likely around Miami at midday and could begin around Orlando before the game concludes," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Bob Smerbeck said.
For fans watching the game outdoors in Chicago, any thunderstorms should hold off until after the game is over.
Spotty showers across the Northwest may add to the cool outdoor conditions in Seattle and Portland, Oregon.
