After the weekend saw a break from rain and high humidity, warm and more humid conditions, along with the chance of thunderstorms, will increase this week around Detroit.
Thunderstorms will move into the area Monday afternoon and they will turn heavy into the evening hours.
Each day this week will feature moderate to high humidity levels and high temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the middle 80s F. High temperatures during late June tend to average in the lower 80s.
The combination of warmth, humidity and several storms systems moving along will bring a daily risk of showers and thunderstorms.
Storms Tuesday have the potential to be rather heavy and could bring travel disruptions and perhaps localized flash flooding.
