Thunderstorms will continue to disrupt the Chicago area through the end of the weekend.
There will be variable cloudiness on Sunday with highs in the mid-80s and a continued threat for a shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon.
The storms could cause weather delays for the game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. First pitch is set for 1:20 p.m. CDT.

Storms could spoil any outdoor plans during the weekend. Locals should take precaution when spending time outside and seek shelter as soon as lightning is seen.

The threat for storms continues into Tuesday, but by Wednesday, sunshine will return as highs hover around 70 F.
